Following the renovation of a large age-old farmhouse in our estate nearby Taormina, we have built 6 houses to spend wonderful holidays in the country, a few minutes away from Taormina centre and the seaside. Each house has a gorgeous view on the Mediterranean garden, the citrus orchard and the olive groves surrounding the property.
The view on the northern slope of Etna is likewise spectacular, and during eruptions, at night, you can watch lava flowing down.
Our estate is wonderfully beautiful.
It consists of two independent buildings: the larger villa Etna and 5 smaller houses, whose names come from local mythology: Lunasole, Zeus, Leone, Trinacria and Polifemo.
The main villa and the smaller houses can be rented all together, by a single group of people willing to spend their holiday together, or separately, by different groups of guests.
Privacy is totally assured by two panelled sliding gates which, according to our guests' requests, can be kept open or closed. As for the smaller houses, privacy between one and the other is assured by a hedge of oleanders and thin canes.
Both the main villa and the 5 smaller houses have their own entrance, swimming-pool and garden.
Outdoor areas are extremely well-kept, everything shines with a deep green, assuring a cool and delightful stay even with hot temperatures.
From the Prince's houses you may enjoy the view of flowers and plants in the gardens, but also of the vineyard spreading around and almost touching villa Etna, and of citrus orchards and olive groves on the surrounding hills.
Both the exteriors and interiors of the property have been personally furnished by Prince Alliata, and the result is a series of warm and sophisticated rooms, where colours play with old prints and antique pieces of furniture, mixing with outdoor light and the green of plants and creating a really comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
